For one night only, we are thrilled to be hosting our friends and colleagues from Canoe, one of Canada’s most celebrated restaurants, to bring you an unforgettable tasting menu experience. On Thursday, September 29, six talented chefs representing both Canoe and Drift will be teaming up to deliver a multi-course menu reflective of our region–and country’s–unique and beautiful terroir.
Over the course of 28 years, Canoe’s chefs have challenged creative boundaries, crafting inspired dishes reflective of Canada’s diverse landscape, history and culture. Most recently ranked #8 on Canada’s 100 Best restaurants list, Canoe has earned its status as a landmark Canadian restaurant, and a growing part of the international culinary conversation.
As this is Canoe’s first official visit to Halifax, we look forward to blowing guests away with an undeniably delicious evening from start to finish. To kick things off, guests will be treated to snacks and bubbles before diving into an exceptional five-course tasting menu paired with wines by Lightfoot & Wolfville. Each course will be presented by the chef behind it, while wine pairings will be introduced by Stephen Lee and Rachel Lightfoot of Lightfoot & Wolfville.
